Win-win-win situation
There are 5 user types that make up Integrity's mutually beneficial ecosystem:
-
Fan User (general public)
-
Merchant User (business owners)
-
Employee User (business employees)
-
Creator User (affiliate individuals/groups)
-
And Community Admin User (local area manager)

These user types play different roles in the ecosystem which align with and enhance their natural incentives.
The image above is a visual aid for how these user types interact with one another in the Integrity ecosystem. Below are descriptions of each numbered arrow describing the relationship between user types:

-
Creator Users do what they do best, come up with valuable ideas, art, entertainment and information which they then share with their audience. The Creator then promotes the Integrity platform to their audience as it financially supports their work (they earn commission form sales affiliated with themselves).
-
Merchant Users create Integrity coupons (deals) and events affiliated with the platforms Creator Users which are then offered to all Fan Users.
-
Fan Users browse and then save Merchant Users coupons (deals) and events affiliated with Creator Users they value. The Fan User then displays the coupon (deal) or events QR code to be scanned and pays for the product, service or event conventionally. 15% of the sale value is taken as commission and split 3 ways: 5% for the affiliated Creator User, 5% for the Local Community Fund, and 5% as a platform fee.
-
Merchant Users and Employee Users scan the coupon or event's QR code when presented by a Fan User (customer) in order to redeem them and enter the value of the sale.
-
Community Admin Users keep both Fan Users and Merchant Users that form part of the local community they manage up to date with community events, local project news, community surveys, and create votes periodically to determine what community projects their Local Community Fund is used for.
Et voila, a mutually beneficial ecosystem where:
-
Local businesses improve sales through effective online marketing and gains the ability to shape their community;
-
Creators with small and large following earn commission from a greater portion of their 1 time and loyal fans;
-
Members of the public gain the ability to build their local economy (via local deals), develop real relationships (via local events), and gain the ability to invest and shape their local community;
-
and Local representatives improve their communication and engagement with their residents (Fan Users and Merchant Users.)

Integrity's Genesis
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the UK government—like many others worldwide—implemented a nationwide lockdown to curb the virus's spread. This measure had significant unintended consequences, particularly in Western nations. Life swiftly migrated online, with socialising, working, shopping, and entertainment confined to screens. As a result, many high-street businesses collapsed, centralised decision-making and government dependency increased, and the nation saw a sharp rise in mental health challenges.

Recognising these issues as symptoms of a deeper structural problem, Mark, the founder, saw how the pandemic had amplified an underlying crisis: the erosion of human connection, circular economics, and personal agency within one's local area. Instead of tackling individual problems in isolation, he sought a holistic solution—one that would meet people where they had grown comfortable (online) while guiding them back to meaningful real-world interactions, the support of local businesses, and having the ability to shape their local area's future. But how?
While strolling down his local high street, listening to a podcast, Mark had a moment of clarity. The host discussed challenges facing Western nations but offered no solutions that empowered listeners to take action. The host then encouraged listeners to support the show by purchasing yet another VPN subscription, prompting Mark to ask: why not create a platform where individuals with an online following could affiliate with local businesses, helping them thrive?
From there, the idea evolved into a comprehensive solution designed to counteract the downsides of post-pandemic digital reliance:

-
Connecting creators of ideas, art, entertainment, information and research with local businesses to incentivise support of their high-street.
-
Hosting real-world events linked to creators and creator categories (topics), fostering in-person social interactions.
-
Channelling purchases into community funds, improving resident investment and engagement in local development.
-
Empowering residents with the ability to vote on how their community's fund is utilised, increasing agency over their home's future.
-
Enhancing the visibility of community events and initiatives, encouraging greater civic participation.
-
Introducing non-inflationary "Tokens" to reward purchases, ensuring long-term incentive to support local development.
At its heart, the Integrity initiative seeks to reignite hope and empower communities, ensuring that fulfilment isn’t just an ideal—but an attainable reality for all.
